M&A ADVISORY

Accompanying an M&A transaction is one of a consultant’s most demanding responsibilities. The sale or acquisition of an interest in a company is not the primary issue in many cases, these transactions often involve the lifetime accomplishments of a company or entrepreneur. With all the related jobs, decades of customer and supplier relations and – last, but not least – the location.

This fascinating material has been a focal point of my activities for over 30 years. In more than 100 transactions, I have advised and supported buyers and sellers and also acted as an independent investor.

I have accompanied well-known clients throughout the entire M&A process, from the initial contacts, to first consultations, well-founded due diligence and enterprise valuation up to contract negotiations.

FINANCE ADVISORY

Corporate finance has been one of my principal activities ever since I started my professional career with a major Austrian bank. Not only, but also very often in connection with an M&A transaction. My experience ranges from stock and bond issues, to simple or structured credits up to private equity and start-up financing – for clients as well as my own investments.

Over the years I have developed an extensive network of contacts in the Austrian market. This makes it possible for me to structure and broker customised financing solutions of any size.

INTERIM MANAGEMENT

Before my time as an investor, I had operational responsibility for dozens of companies in Austria and other countries through positions on the supervisory board, management board or in management. My particular passion is the restructuring and reorganisation of distressed companies, independent of the branch. 

Apart from the pure skills of a turnaround specialist, I have learned that a particularly important requirement for successful restructuring is the right interaction with the people in the distressed company and its environment.
